At L’Angolo, the aim is simple: to create a place that feels authentic, generous and welcoming. A place where the food is honest, the service is warm, and guests can experience the spirit of an Italian table right here in Auckland.
Our general manager Claudia Cattalini was born and raised in Milan. Hospitality has been part of her life from the very beginning. Hospitality for her is about generosity, warmth, attention to detail and making people feel genuinely welcome. She launched 2 restaurants by the age of 21 and after finishing her degree in Psychology, she moved to Australia where she worked in fine dining and developed a deeper appreciation for exceptional food and thoughtful service. Today, alongside managing two venues – L’Angolo and Pasta&Cuore – she is a proud mum.
She returns to Italy regularly, always discovering, tasting and researching — bringing a little more of Italy back with her each time.
